Penang and Ipoh...
...two days after the wedding, fushan came all the way from SG to seremban by himself... The next morning we went to Penang to find DY and wen hui... This was my 2nd trip to Penang but i have never been to most of the places there... and thanks to DY and wen hui's guided tour, we had been to places that we can't possibly go for a non local... Above picture was taken while we took a ferry to Penang Island... and it was my 1st ferry ride!!!!... muahahhaha... so happy... =P ...Then DY wanted to show fushan how antique and unique the bus system was at Penang... and that was why we went to Komtar by bus... =S ...It took us more than one hour to reach Komtar although it was supposed to be about 5 minutes ride... The rest of the time we spend by standing in a crowded bus... =S ...Since Komtar was some kind of a landmark for Penang Island, we walk around there and finally headed back to the jetty...
...after strolling around Komtar, the next morning wen hui joined us and we all went to Kek Lok Si temple... It was a very stunning place indeed... and the Pagoda tower above can easily be seen from far away... Every level of the Pagoda houses Buddha and every steps shrank as we made our way up to the top of the Pagoda...
...This was the older Kuan Yin statue that was built above of a temple... Currently a shelter is being built for a 30 meter tall, bronze Kuan Yin statue... Just imagine how high the shelter going to be...
...When step into Kek Lok Si temple, Buddha statues can be seen everywhere... and the stone carving at the main prayer hall was the most awesome coz i dunno how they can carve and make it such that it has layers and every single subject was in 3D...
...when we about to leave the place, a monkey follow us... Dunno why it persistently followed us... There was an uncle who we thought he was the keeper of the monkey trying to direct the monkey back to the forest but seems like somehow the monkey attracted to us... Actually i was quite worried that it might grab our stuff and run away but it didn't... After we reach the main entrace where there were more ppl around, the monkey stop following us... and at that time, actually i also feel a bit pity for that monkey coz it was out from the forest because of us... and now the monkey seems lost...
...after having a super nice asam laksa at the roadside near Kek Lok Si temple, we continue our tour to a Burmese temple... The Sleeping Buddha was located there too... The Burmese architecture really makes that whole temple has the Thai feeling...
...After walking around the town area for the whole day, we went to Batu Ferringhi to enjoy the sea view there... since it was a popular tourist destination, stuff like horse riding was provided... and because of that, horse's poo and pee were everywhere on the beach... =S
...at the end we just sat on some rocks and just staring at the scenery... thought can see sunset there but it was cloudy... As it was getting dark, we headed back to dy's place... and that was the end of the Penang trip... It was really a great trip... and if not because of dy and wen hui, i think we wont be getting anywhere interesting... Oh, and thanks to uncle and auntie Law for the stay too... =)
...i think if anyone knows well of our KE sister, rabbits are closely associated with only one of us... and that is san min... yepp... that is Scholes 仔, a very cute baby rabbit with fluffy fur... It doesn't respond to ppl but only respond to food... muhahahaha... And besides Scholes 仔, san min has 2 other rabbits that are already grown up... Heard that one of it like to bite ppl...
...fushan and i went to ipoh to find san min... Ipoh is really a great place to see all those limestone mountains and caves... We went to 3 different limestone caves there and all of them look awesome for ppl like me who grew up surrounded by houses and highways... =P

...uncle leow also brought us to the Kellie's Castle which is quite isolated... It was an uncompleted mansion of an english man called William Kellie-Smith... I have heard of this castle since i was in primary school... and if i still remember, one of the Peter Stuyvesant advertisements was located there...That night was the last night before fushan and i going back home... that's why and thanks to uncle and auntie leow because of treating us to Lou Wong for the famous bean sproutes chicken... Although i usually dun really like bean sproutes, the bean sproutes there taste better than usual... haha...
Basically we just eat and eat besides touring around the states... really really want to thank dy, wen hui and san min for all the trouble by bringing us here and there... heeheee... =D
