NUS Rag and Flag Day 2009...

...KEnovo, A New Beginning... Winner of NUSSU Challenge Shield for Most Environmentally Friendly Float and NUS President's Challenge Shield for Best Float for Halls of Residence......KEVIIans......mermaid princess and skeleton captain......squid on the tip of an abandoned anchor......detailing on the surfaces of the float......jumping in joy......steering octopus......tossing a "fish".......finale of the dynamic presentation......twin pirate dolphins......hanging crab......clamshell compass......heighten spirit......KEnovo crest...
...Temasek Hall's Cesta... sadly to say, it's almost perfectly blended into Faculty floats......seems like tossing ppl around into the sky was a must do act during the dynamic presentation... in fact, almost all the faculties and halls did the same thing...
...mr.skeleton wasn't left out from the Rag Day as well...
...Sheares Hall's Incandescense......static displays of Sheares Hall's Incandescense...
...happy clown and candy girl in Sheares Hall's Incandescense dynamic performance...
...Raffles Hall's static presentation...
...Raffles Hall's 'flying machine'?...
...future doctors......
...Kent Ridge Hall's KRavings......KRavings' dynamic performance......Eusoff Hall's Dive...
...Eusoff Hall's static presentation...
...every hall was forming their very own of human wall around their respective beloved floats...
...jumping joyously while cried out loud among fellow KEVIIans was unavoidable when the most important award was announced on this year's NUS Rag Day, which took place on last Saturday... It doesn't matter if we can't get the Best Float Design and Best Float Performance awards specifically... Getting and recognized as the Best Float of 2009 among Hall of residences was the greatest achievement one can ever get on Rag Day!!!... we were so down and broken hearted when the Best Float Design award was taken by Eusoff Hall... and which eventually took up the Best Float Performance as well... Nevertheless, this year KEVII had achieved and created a whole new history in float making... for this, our hall's name will be resounded for years to come... For now, hopefully we will be able to get it on to Chingay and show to the world how our float had surpassed others... =D
