Melaka Weekend Getaway...

...it's been awhile since i played with my dslr... most probably coz dun have much time to really go around and take photos... whenever i am off from work, i'll rather have my own rest at home... but stuck at home doing nothing and go to work the day after and keep repeating the cycle every week, every month makes me wanna have a quick getaway...

...proton in the rain...

...although it was an impromptu trip, the whole trip was entertaining and fun going around the historical town of malacca... Heavy down pour wasn't something that we had expected... so our plans were disrupted in a way or the other... After having our lunch at some well known and nice nyonya "restaurant", we head off to Dataran Pahlawan to catch a movie... It was a 3 hours movie and when it finished, the rain should have subsided... and it did, sort of...=P

...The Portable Eye on Malaysia...

...initially the plan was to ride the Eye On Malaysia and have a glimpse of the nearby Malacca town before the sun set... but heavy rain with nothing but white grey surrounding covering the whole view wasn't really a magnificient view that we hope to see anyway... So we wait till a bit later and decided to catch the night view instead... It wasn't so bad afterall... and being a malaysian and had a forever-won't-expired student card, the ticket to ride the thing was cut to more than half!!... woohoooo... muahahaha... XP

...Jonker Walk...

...This was the third or forth trip to malacca in these few years... Visited Jonker Walk night market only twice... although it may look like ordinary "pasar malam", somehow the ppl, either selling or buying the stuff make it kind of unique in a sense...

...there were lots of interesting stuff... ppl were exhibiting and selling home made stuff, trying to earn some income through it... I noticed lot of youngsters peddling the stalls and most of them selling pretty much the same thing also... =S

...named tembam... but doesn't look tembam at all!~...

...the day after that was when i'll be going back home... after we had our quick breakfast... we headed to somewhere near the bus terminal to spend our time before boarding the bus and ended up at the riverside of Sungai Muar... although it was a bit drizzling, we walked around the area and headed back to terminal after that... that's how it was for the very short trip over the weekend...=)
